The Myler Full Cheek Snaffle Bit are Ergonomic in design and made of Stainless Steel and or Copper and have Traditional Full Cheek Piece without Hooks and Copper Inlay on Inside of Bit's Mouthpiece Bars to Encourage Salivation. The Bars of this horse egg butt horse bit are Shaped in Pronounced Curve to Allow Comfortable Swallowing Myler Full Cheek horse bits have unique curved mouthpiece bars and all Myler bits are ergonomically designed to accommodate the natural anatomy of the horse's mouth. Additionally the Myler horse bits run wider as compared to standard horse bits. The shape of these bits means the mouthpiece wraps around the bars and lips of the horses mouth and will not pinch when the mouthpiece rotates onto the tongue. This curved design additional space for the horse's tongue to rest comfortably under the bit; allowing the horse to comfortably swallow when the reins are not engaged. The barrel piece in the center of the bit is same width as the bars of the mouthpiece. This means even distribution and application of the same amount of pressure on the horses tongue. The Myler wide barrel Full Cheek bit distributes pressure and also uses the Independent Side Movement of the Myler bits to allow riders to pick up horses shoulders and derive lateral movements. Independent Side Movement the keystone of the Myler Horse Bits. The barrel at the center of the mouthpiece is not a roller, but rather a bushing that allows each side of the bit to move independently of the other so that when the rider engages one rein on a fixed rein using a Myler bit with Independent Side Movement the rider lifts only one side of the bit and this gives the an exact signal to the horse. Ron Myler, Bob Myler and Dale Myler are all horseman and have ridden . They make handmade bits as well and are fixtures at the snaffle bit futurity. the Myler Toklat bits are an affordable option with all the features of the hand made bits. Ron Myler will say the Myler bit was designed as a communication tool between the horse and rider. To communicate with the horse effectively the horse rider needs a horse bit which allows the horse to be relaxed. That is the cornerstone of the Myler Bitting System; the basic tongue relief that distributes tongue pressure evenly. The Myler's mouthpiece designs gives the rider the options of varying degrees of tongue relief for the horse depending on his level of training and bit acceptance. These degrees are the Myler "Leve's" noted for each bit. The Myler Full Cheek Snaffle horse bits come in Level 1, Level 1-2 and offer tongue relief to your horse. It is considered one of the mildest Myler Horse Bits
