OPTIMAL SAFETY CONSTRUCTION -The outer shell of the Shadowmatt is made of polycarbonate; a material used in the manufacture of high end motorcycle helmets, and features an anti-scratch matte paint finish. The inner shell is made of variable density polystyrene which provides better dissipation of energy upon impact. All Samshield helmets are ASTM and SEI certified.

STABILITY - The “Shape Memory” foam liner conforms to your head and will not compress over time. This secure, comfortable fit combined with a semi-rigid leather covered foam harness system eliminates any risk the helmet will dislodge or “tip” in case of a violent impact. The liners are held in place by a secure, clip system and are removable and washable.

PERFECT SIZE ADJUSTMENT FOR UNMATCHED COMFORT - 3 shell sizes are available: Small, Medium and Large. Each shell can accommodate 4 to 5 inner foam liners of different sizes, from 51 to 61, in order to obtain a perfect, custom fit. This fitting system makes the Shadowmatt a perfect choice for young riders as liners can be changed to accommodate growth.

POWERFUL INTERNAL AIRFLOW - Equipped with a front air intake, the Shadowmatt provides exceptional ventilation. Fresh air is channeled from the front inltake to the rear vents and around the foam liner. This concept generates a strong internal airflow avoiding the need for visible air vents. The result is an elegant helmet that provides superior comfort and protection.
