Material is great, very comfortable. I'm usually a 2 or 4 in jeans, post-pandemic probably a 4, so I went with the 28" waist. There is a little bit of extra fabric in the butt and thigh areas, but the waist stays up fine and the extra is not enough to need an exchange!
